Hace un tiempo se dió un fenómeno en Twitter cuando a alguien se le ocurrió empezar a traducir lugares de Costa Rica, y esto fue acompañado del hashtag: #lugarestraducidos

Yo participé varias veces aportando lugares, y en el momento habían cientos de tweets con lugares ticos traducidos. Eso fue muy entretenido pero después quise de este modo “inmortalizar” los mismos, ilustrándolos.

Voy a hacer t-shirts de los diseños si todo sale bien, próximamente me estaré moviendo por ese lado, y sería chiva hacer diferentes artículos como tazas, pines, entre otros materiales tipo POP, también souvenirs y hacerlos para lugares personalizados.  Aquí están los primeros diseños, y vienen más en camino!

Some time ago there was a random Twitter viral phenomenon, when someone decided to start translating places of Costa Rica, and used the hashtag: #lugarestraducidos (in English it means #translatedplaces). 

So the principal idea was to Translate the place into English, taking parts of the word.
Lets see an example of this: Orotina is a place of Costa Rica, so in spanish if we separate this word, we get two different meanings: “Oro” means Gold, and “Tina” means Tub. So the funny part was to say that Orotina was  in English a Golden Tub. 

I participated several times tweeting names of translated places and some time later there were nearly hundreds of tweets with suggestions of names. That was very fun but after that I wanted to “immortalize” them. How? well by illustrating them.
